But the court case itself is no laughing matter. It’s over now, as the Pro Bowl kicker Aubrey and the other members of the jury in Tarrant County’s 297th District Court heard a domestic violence strangulation case.
And in the end, a man named Daniel Rincones was found guilty on one of two charges, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports, and the court sentenced Rincones to 65 years in prison for a felony charge of assault.
Rincones is reportedly a repeat offender. He was previously was arrested in July 2015 and found guilty in February 2019 of aggravated sexual assault. Both of Rincones’ offenses were committed against a member of his household, making his acts ones of domestic violence.
