The Miami Dolphins are facing a must-win situation in Week 10 as they prepare to take on the Los Angeles Rams. To make matters even more difficult for them, there’s now a chance that they won’t have superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill at their disposal for this contest.
Hill suddenly popped up on the Dolphins injury report after he missed practice on Friday with a wrist injury. Mike McDaniel didn’t sound too encouraged by Hill’s injury status on Saturday, and sure enough, he missed practice for the second straight day as a result.
As of right now, Hill is trending in the wrong direction, but given how dire Miami’s situation is, he’s likely going to do whatever he can to suit up against Los Angeles. In the Dolphins final injury report, Hill is officially listed as questionable for the Dolphins Week 10 action, which at least gives him a shot to play in this pivotal matchup.
Hill is one of the best wide receivers in the league, and he’s Tua Tagovailoa’s favorite target in the passing game. While his numbers aren’t all that gaudy this season, Hill has still hauled in 34 passes for 446 yards and a score over eight games, which is pretty impressive considering how Tagovailoa missed four games with a concussion.
Miami is playing on Monday Night Football, so Hill has an extra day to get himself healthy. If he ends up being unable to go, though, Jaylen Waddle will step up and take on the lead wide receiver role for this game.
Hill’s injury status is incredibly important, as his presence on the field could single-handedly determine whether or not the Dolphins are able to keep their playoff hopes alive by pulling out a win. Kickoff for Miami’s Week 10 clash with LA is currently scheduled for 8:15 P.M. EST on Monday, Nov. 11th.
