Taylor Swift is the first woman in history to be nominated for album of the year at the Grammys seven times.
The “Fortnight” singer has won the top category four times, making history at the 2024 awards show when she took home the hardware for “Midnights.”
Now, Swift will be gunning to take home the award once again come February 2025.
On Friday, the pop star, 34, scored five nominations for her latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” which came out in April.

In addition to album of the year, Swift was nominated for record of the year (“Fortnight”), song of the year (“Fortnight”), best pop vocal album (“The Tortured Poets Department”) and best music video (“Fortnight”).She also snagged a nod for best pop duo/group performance for her feature on Gracie Abrams’ song “Us.”
However, Swift wasn’t the only person to make history Friday when the list came out.
Beyoncé led the pack with a whopping 11 nominations, making her the most-nominated artist in the show’s history. The “Halo” singer now has 99 total nominations throughout her career.

Despite winning 29 Grammys throughout her career, the “Diva” singer has yet to take home music’s biggest prize: album of the year.
