The Dallas Cowboys released cornerback Andrew Booth Jr. after signing wide receiver Jonathan Mingo on Tuesday but have now brought Booth back days later.
On Tuesday, the Dallas Cowboys made a few moves. They traded the Carolina Panthers for wide receiver Jonathan Mingo in exchange for a 2025 fourth-round draft pick, and released defensive tackle Jordan Phillips and cornerback Andrew Booth Jr.
Phillips’ release did not free up a roster spot as he was never activated to the 53-man roster after suffering from an injury in Week 2 and being placed on Injured Reserve. Booth’s release, however, did free up a spot.
Cowboys bring back Booth
Just two days after releasing Booth, however, the Cowboys announced they’d re-signed him to the practice squad on Thursday morning.
