Nick Bosa came out on top this week, and he does not care what anybody thinks.
The San Francisco 49ers superstar defender spoke to media members at his locker one day after Trump won the presidential election.
Amid the conversation, Bosa acknowledged he knew he could be fined for wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat during the “Sunday Night Football” postgame show after the 49ers’ Oct. 27 game against the Cowboys.
However, Nick Bosa did not care. He stated that if he were fined, it would be “well worth it.”
Following his cap controversy on that Sunday night game, Bosa was asked why he chose to wear the MAGA hat, he said he did so because “it’s an important time” but didn’t elaborate beyond that.
On Wednesday, Nick Bosa declined once again to answer a question about why he decided to wear his hat to make a political statement.
“I don’t think my position on speaking about it is going to change,” Bosa said. “Clearly, the nation spoke, and we got what we got.”
He would not be pressed about his personal beliefs or why he supports Trump any further.
As we all saw, Donald Trump became the 47th president of the United States after Election Day once he got the 270 necessary to win the presidency.
As of this writing, his lead has grown even further: He has 295 electoral votes, while Kamala Harris has 226.
