Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson missed two days of practice last week due to back and knee issues. Head coach John Harbaugh claimed the two-time league MVP missed Wednesday’s practice due to a “rest day.”
Jackson would return to practice on Friday and passed just fine in the Ravens’ 41-10 victory over the Denver Broncos on Sunday. He went 16-of-19 passing for 280 yards and three touchdowns.
Jackson was more limited in the rushing attack than normal, adding four yards on three carries in the blowout win at M&T Bank Stadium.
The Ravens were back to practice on Tuesday as they prepare to play the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night. Per multiple reports, Jackson was not there after missing Monday’s walkthrough.
Per the Ravens X account, Harbaugh responded to a question about Jackson, and the head coach said the star quarterback would play against the Bengals despite the problem that is keeping him from practice.
“Nothing I really want to talk about or comment on,” Harbaugh said. “(Jackson) will be playing Thursday night.”
Jackson’s availability on Thursday night is good news for the Ravens, as they’re set to face a 4-5 Bengals team that has won three of their last four games.
The Ravens won the first contest between the two AFC North rivals by a score of 41-38 on Oct. 6.
The 6-3 Ravens are second in the division behind the 6-2 Pittsburgh Steelers entering Week 10.
