It’s believed that Ezekiel Elliott’s second stint with the Dallas Cowboys could be over.
The veteran running back is a healthy scratch against the Atlanta Falcons this Sunday, which marks the first of his career.
According to NFL Network’s Jane Slater, the Cowboys have had to deal with habitual lateness from the player this term. The player has also missed three team meetings, including one on Friday.
“Both parties decided it was best he didn’t make the trip to Atlanta. Dalvin Cook and Rico Dowdle will be expected to carry the load this afternoon,” Slater reported.
