FaZe Clan shows up for Bronny James

Members of the prominent esports team FaZe Clan were in attendance for Bronny James’ NBA debut on Tuesday night. James is an official member of the esports team but is not bound by any contractual commitments.

Bronny joined the clan in 2020 when he was still a sophomore in high school. He was brought in to represent the team during his game steams, including popular titles like Fortnite and Call of Duty: Warzone on Twitch. Bronny’s follower count on Twitch has since grown to more than 625,000.

The FaZe Clan members present included FaZe Ronaldo, FaZe Max, FaZe Adapt, FaZe YourRAGE, FaZe Silky, FaZe Jason, FaZe Lacy and FaZe Banks.

Every member of the esports team attended James’ debut sporting his jersey. To make it easy for Bronny to recognize them, they all wore the jerseys backward, featuring his surname on the front instead.

According to CompaniesMarketCap.com, FaZe Clan’s market value currently stands at $14.1 million.

The wait is finally over as Bronny James made his official debut in the NBA on Tuesday. The LA Lakers went up against the Minnesota Timberwolves and secured a huge 110-103 victory at home.

Anthony Davis took over and gave JJ Redick his first win as Lakers coach coach. Davis had a huge double-double outing with 36 points, 16 rebounds, four assists, three blocks and one steal. Helping “AD” on offense were Rui Hachimura (18 points), LeBron James (16 points) and Austin Reaves (12 points).

While LA fans celebrated the win against last season’s Western Conference finalists, Bronny James went scoreless in his much-anticipated debut. Bronny checked in late in the second quarter, playing a total of 2:41 minutes and missing his two shots.

Bronny’s first shot attempt came when he saw the opportunity to put the ball back inside after the Lakers missed a jumper. However, Rudy Gobert was quick to deny the young James, swatting the ball out of bounds. LeBron then found his son open for a 3-point shot from the elbow but missed again with Joe Ingles contesting.

Coach Redick then subbed Bronny out as the Timberwolves crept closer.

The Lakers were outscored by six points in the second half but managed to pull off the 110-103 win.
