ERLING Haaland is living in a fantasy world – after becoming a surprise new character in his favourite video game.
The Manchester City superstar, 23, is a huge fan of Clash of the Clans and from today players will be able to recruit him as the Barbarian King.

Haaland said: ‘I’ve been a huge fan, so to appear as an in-game character is really cool’
Posting on social media, Haaland said: “From the pitch to the battlefield!
“I’ve been a huge fan of the game for a long time and know everything about it, so to appear as an in-game character is really cool.”
It is currently one of the most played mobile games globally, having been downloaded over two billion times since its first release more than a decade ago.
Players build their own hamlet and launch raids on enemies in a power struggle.
Stuart McGaw, general manager of Clash of Clans, said: “When we heard Haaland was a fan of our game and that he wanted to partner with us, it was really a dream scenario.”
