Neymar brings football flair to WTA Finals in Riyadh, meets Aryna Sabalenka

Brazilian soccer star Neymar adds a touch of football flair to the WTA Finals, performing the coin toss and sharing laughs with top-ranked Aryna Sabalenka.

Neymar, the Brazilian football icon and Al-Hilal star, made a special appearance at the WTA Finals in Riyadh on Saturday, bringing excitement to the tennis event by performing the ceremonial coin toss. The crowd responded enthusiastically as chair umpire Zhang Juan introduced him with a simple yet impactful, “This is Neymar,” sending waves of excitement through the stands.

Before stepping onto the court, Neymar shared a light moment with Aryna Sabalenka, the world No. 1 tennis player from Belarus. The two athletes exchanged smiles and selfies, with Sabalenka receiving a personalized, autographed shirt from Neymar after her victory over Zheng Qinwen.

Although Neymar’s brief time in the tennis spotlight delighted fans, his focus will soon shift back to football. Al-Hilal are gearing up for their AFC Champions League showdown against Esteghlal FC on Monday, where Neymar will aim to make an impact on the pitch.
