Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was seen smiling through his helmet at practice – as was quarterback Patrick Mahomes as he was slinging a pass.
For Kelce, it comes as his girlfriend – pop superstar Taylor Swift – performs her final shows in the United States.
Swift is currently in Indianapolis – where she is performing the first of three shows.
After Indianapolis, Swift will then head north of the border to Canada where she plays six nights in Toronto and closes out the tour with three nights in Vancouver.
As for Kelce, he finally caught his first touchdown pass of the season in a close contest against the AFC West rival Las Vegas Raiders.
It broke a drought for Kelce that lasted to the previous season, having not caught a touchdown pass since last year’s AFC Championship game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Despite the late arrival in the touchdown category, Kelce still leads the Chiefs in receiving yards and pass targets.
He’ll hope to continue building onto his strong start to the season with Monday’s game.
