Real Madrid have not rated Aurelien Tchouameni’s performances in midfield this season. The Frenchman could be sold as Real Madrid look to move on to another option, according to Relevo. Los Blancos are reportedly considering a move for Man City’s Rodri, who won the Ballon d’Or on Monday.
Despite Madrid’s interest, Rodri may not be keen on a move to the Bernabeu for two main reasons. Firstly, Rodri played for Atletico Madrid. Although he only played for one season, Rodri was very popular with fans. The Spanish midfielder has also spoken fondly of his time at Atletico.
The second reason is that Real Madrid recently had controversial reactions after Rodri Vinicius Junior in the Ballon d’Or race. Many Real Madrid players and legends have shown a lack of respect for Rodri’s skillset.
According to Relevo, coach Ancelotti will further evaluate Tchouameni and Eduardo Camavinga in the next few months before making a final decision on their futures.
