A 19-year-old Juventus player named Kenan Yildiz made a big splash over the weekend by scoring twice to save a point for his team in an exciting 4–4 draw with Inter Milan.
On Sunday, Juve was down 4–2 in the Derby d’Italia. In the 28th minute, the winger came on and scored two goals, shocking the home crowd. Yildiz made a name for himself in the football world with this effort. He now has three goals and two assists in 12 games across all competitions this season.
The young player came up through the ranks of the Serie A giants and is contracted to Turin until 2029. However, the Turkish star has been linked with a move away from Italy.
Recent rumors have tied Arsenal to Yildiz. The Gunners are looking for a new winger for the 2025–26 season because Raheem Sterling is not likely to stay at the Emirates Stadium after this season, according to Charles Watts.
The Gunners reporter said he had never heard of the Juventus star as a possible player for the Premier League club. But that doesn’t mean they aren’t keeping an eye on the young player.

“Kenan Yildiz is clearly very good at what he does. “He showed that again over the weekend with an amazing two-goal cameo that saved a point for Juventus in their exciting 4–4 draw with Inter,” Watts wrote in his most recent exclusive piece for The Daily Briefing on CaughtOffside.
“I’ve heard that Arsenal might be interested in him, which doesn’t come as a big surprise.”
Given that Arsenal needs to get a new midfielder next summer, they are being linked with pretty much every good wide player in Europe right now. Yildiz is one of these players.
The Arsenal reporter went on to say, “I have to admit, it’s not a link I’ve ever had proven.” Guys like Mudryk and Nico Williams have been getting a lot of attention, but Yildiz is someone I’ve never heard of.
“Of course, that doesn’t mean they aren’t keeping an eye on him.” He’s definitely a great young player because he’s shown how good he is. He’s very good, and every top club in the world will know about him.
“Arsenal needs more players who can attack.” That’s clear.
Because they couldn’t get the players they really wanted last summer, they brought in Raheem Sterling as a short-term fix.
“As I’ve already said, I don’t think Sterling will stay longer than his season-long loan, so Arsenal will need to look to improve that area again in the summer.”
If Arsenal wanted to add a winger, Yildiz would be a great choice because he is young enough to help their main wingers and would become a starter after working with Mikel Arteta for a couple of years.
