RUBEN AMORIM has elevated a 6ft 5in wonderkid to Manchester United’s first-team training.

The new Red Devils manager led his first training session since replacing Erik ten Hag.

Amorim, 39, is preparing his team for his debut game in command, which is scheduled for Sunday away at Ipswich Town.

However, due to foreign duties, he could only call on ten first-team players.

Kobbie Mainoo is still working on his fitness, and Amad Diallo played despite missing Ivory Coast’s setback to Zambia on Friday.

Rashford made the most of his international break by traveling to New York to watch NBA games.

Tyrell Malacia was also on the grass, continuing to improve his fitness.

The defender hasn’t played for the club since the final game of the 2022/23 season.

Manchester United have stated that Amorim will have his first opportunity to see the entire group later this week.

This will be their return from international duty.

Victor Lindelof, on the other hand, will be questioned because he suffered injuries while representing Sweden.

Position: midfield

Dane is one of Portugal’s top holding midfielders, and Amorim has named him captain.
