Jordan Poyer returned to the Buffalo Bills‘ Highmark Stadium as an opposing player for the first time in nearly a decade, and helped his former team win the game with a costly error.
The now-Miami Dolphin made helmet-to-helmet contact with Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman on a crucial third down where if he did not insert himself in such a barbaric nature, the play would have ended in an incomplete pass.
Instead, the Bills did not punt the ball to the Dolphins with the score tied with under a minute to go.
Josh Allen and the rest of the offense went down the field and Tyler Bass kicked a 61-yard field goal to win the game.
