Nick Kyrgios has made a bold claim saying he does not want to retire like Rafael Nadal or Andy Murray. The Australian star added that he imagines a different farewell for himself which will be unlike these two tennis stars.
Speaking at the Louis Theroux Podcast, Kyrgios said that he wants to retire at the top of his game rather than crawl to the finish line. The Aussie star further added that the surgeries and pain that Murray and Nadal have suffered during the later stages of their career are not worth it.
“I look at how Andy Murray’s doing it (retirement) now, and how Rafael [Nadal] is going out, I don’t want to be like that either, I don’t want to be kind of crawling to the finish line in a sense. I think, that the surgeries, the pain, it’s just not worth it, in my opinion,” Kyrgios said

Iga Swiatek has begun coaching with her new coach Wim Fissette ahead of the WTA Finals in Riyadh. The Polish star is set to compete in her first tournament since the US Open.
After training with her new coach in Poland, the World No. 2 traveled to the Saudi capital to prepare for the WTA Finals. Swiatek lost her World No. 1 ranking to Aryna Sabalenka and will be keen to get back at the top to end the year as the World No. 1.
Andrey Rublev smashes racquet against his knee during his Paris Masters defeat
Andrey Rublev suffered a shock defeat at the hands of Francisco Cerundolo at the Paris Masters. The Russian lost two tie-breaks to lose the match in straight sets.
During the second set, Rublev hit his knee with the racquet constantly in frustration as he struggled to play at his best. The constant hammering of the knee eventually resulted in bleeding. Later, Rublev stood on the court holding his bloodied knee.
This was not the first time when Andrey Rublev got better of his emotions on the court. The Russian did the same during his Wimbledon exit against the same opposition.

Serena Williams’ husband Alexis Ohanian dropped a three-word response to Washington Commanders’ thrilling win against the Chicago Bears. The commanders won the match from the jaws of defeat thanks to last-minute heroics from Jayden Daniels.
During the match, Ohanian took to Twitter and posted a video of him screaming with joy after Commander’s thrilling victory. A day later, the business tycoon reposted a story from the Washington Post on his Instagram story with the caption ‘Feels good man’.
