The England stars were the targets of lasers fired by the Greece fans during Thursday night\u2019s Nations League match.<\/p>\n
In order to recover from their 2-1 loss at home to tonight\u2019s hosts and secure first place in their group, the Three Lions will need to win their match in Athens.<\/p>\n
The home fans clearly wanted to assist Greece win the match by directing lasers at players like Jude Bellingham.<\/p>\n
Apparently in an effort to deter the Real Madrid player, he was being targeted by brilliant green lasers as he ran through on goal.<\/p>\n
During the play, the lasers also targeted England goalie Jordan Pickford.<\/p>\n

Despite the best attempts from the home crowd, it didn\u2019t stop England from racing into a 1-0 lead on the night.<\/p>\n
Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins smashed home from close range to give the Three Lions the lead after much debate over his place in the starting line-up.<\/p>\n
Despite the magnitude of the match, Carsley has opted to start Ollie Watkins up-front, instead of Three Lions captain Kane, and later explained his decision.<\/p>\n
He said: \u2018It was important to give Ollie Watkins the opportunity. To experience a night like this is great for himself.<\/p>\n
\u2018This team needs to try and create leaders and one way of doing that is giving them an opportunity.<\/p>\n
Speaking on Kane, he said; \u2018He\u2019s fine. He wants to play. But his attitude has been fantastic since.<\/p>\n
\u2018It\u2019s important that we give players a chance and I\u2019m sure Ollie will do really well tonight\u2019.<\/p>\n

It didn\u2019t stop the Three Lions from racing into a 1-0 advantage after just six minutes<\/p>\n
Carsley can feel justified in his decision after Watkins scored just six minutes into the match. The Aston Villa striker provided a neat finish from close range to open the scoring.<\/p>\n
The build-up to the game has been dominated by discussions around the numerous players who have pulled out of\u00a0Carsley\u2019s squad, for injury issues and other reasons.<\/p>\n
Kane was quizzed on the situation ahead of the game, and on Wednesday it emerged that he had suggested some of his team-mates had \u2018taken advantage\u2019 of a congested club schedule.<\/p>\n
