In 2021, Odell Beckham Jr. made a very risky decision when finalizing the terms of his contract with the\u00a0Los Angeles Rams.<\/p>\n

Of course, he would quickly sign with the team after being released by the\u00a0Cleveland Browns, and after winning a Super Bowl with the team, it certainly looked like the right decision.<\/p>\n

However, he came under intense scrutiny when he opted to get his $750,000 base salary in Bitcoin. According to\u00a0Law Stein Anderson, when he signed the contract, it was worth $64,293.<\/p>\n

It was a questionable move at the time, and it only got worse: At one point in 2022, Bitcoin had dropped to $16,000.<\/p>\n

However, Beckham never decided to sell his currency, and it is now paying off amazingly.<\/p>\n
