Jerry Jones has not been pleased with the growing chatter on one of AT&T Stadium\u2019s most controversial design choices.<\/p>\n

The Cowboys got crushed by the Philadelphia Eagles 34-6 at their home venue AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. One talking point from the contest was how the Cowboys were hurt by the sunlight shining into the building.<\/p>\n

Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb botched a potential three-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter that could have given Dallas a 10-7 lead (video here). Lamb gestured that the sun got into his eyes. The Cowboys ended up kicking a field goal to trim the lead to 7-6 and never scored again.<\/p>\n

AT&T Stadium was designed uniquely based on the preference of team owner Jerry Jones. The field\u2019s alignment goes East-West rather than North-South, which is the way most stadiums are built exactly to avoid the sunlight issue.<\/p>\n

When asked if the team would consider installing curtains, Jones gave an animated response.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell let\u2019s tear the damn stadium down and build another one? Are you kidding me?\u201d Jones said. \u201cEverybody has got the same thing. Every team that comes in here has the same issues. I\u2019m saying, the world knows where the sun is. You get to know that almost a year in advance. Someone asked me about the sun. What about the sun? Where\u2019s the moon?\u201d<\/p>\n
