RUUD VAN NISTELROOY waved goodbye to the Manchester United interim job with his head held high as he oversaw a 3-0 win over Leicester.<\/p>\n

A wondergoal from Bruno Fernandes and a Rasmus Kristensen own goal in the first half and an Alejandro Garnacho screamer late on were all United needed to seal victory against the Foxes.<\/p>\n

Bruno Fernandes celebrated his 250th appearance for United with a classy opener<\/em><\/p>\n

The win ensured Ruud van Nistelrooy leaves the interim role undefeated<\/em><\/p>\n

Alejandro Garnacho came off the bench to add a third in the second half<\/em><\/p>\n

Following his heroics against PAOK in the middle of the week, Amad Diallo was included in the starting lineup. This time, he took the initiative and back-heeled the ball into Fernandes\u2019 path, who scored a worldie on his 250th club appearance.<\/p>\n

Later, Noussair Mazraoui sent a pass into Fernandes\u2019s path. Fernandes mishit his header, but the ball slipped off his thigh and veered onto Kristensen\u2019s leg before bouncing into the net.<\/p>\n

In order to maintain a clean sheet, United played a professional game in the second half, but Garnacho scored a spectacular goal off the bench to make it 3-0.Here\u2019s how we rated the Red Devils.<\/p>\n

Stood tall when Ndidi went through on goal and a decent tip round the post from Ayew as Leicester tried to get back in it.<\/p>\n

NOUSSAIR MAZROUAI \u2013 6<\/p>\n

Lucky to escape tackle on Buonanotte without any punishment. Supplied the cross from the left which led to United\u2019s second goal.<\/p>\n

MATTHIJS DE LIGT \u2013 6<\/p>\n

Made a key second half clearance when the Foxes were trying to find their way back into the game. Fairly comfortable afternoon for home defenders.<\/p>\n

LISANDRO MARTINEZ \u2013 7<\/p>\n

Spent the first hour at centre half then showed his versatility by switching to left-back when Dalot was forced off.<\/p>\n

DIOGO DALOT \u2013 6<\/p>\n

\"Match<\/strong><\/p>\n

Did a steady job keeping the Foxes at bay but then taken off on the hour \u2013 presumably due to injury as United had to reshuffle their defence.<\/p>\n

CASEMIRO \u2013 7<\/p>\n

Better from the veteran Brazilian who helped United take command of the game before getting the chance to put his feet up late on.<\/p>\n

MANUEL UGARTE \u2013 6<\/p>\n

Great challenge on Soumare showed what he is all about and some signs he is finding his feet. Will be looking forward to arrival of former boss Amorim.<\/p>\n

AMAD DIALLO \u2013 7<\/p>\n

Delightful backheel for Fernandes to curl home the opener and could have scored himself. The Ivorian has had a good week.<\/p>\n

BRUNO FERNANDES \u2013 8<\/p>\n

Involved in all three goals. A screamer for the opener, his touch forced an own goal for the second and registered an assist for Garnacho\u2019s strike. Nice to see him contributing in front of goal once again and what a way to mark his 250th appearance for United.<\/p>\n

MARCUS RASHFORD \u2013 5<\/p>\n

Didn\u2019t impact the game as he barely posed any threat. Kept coming too central for some reason and much like Dalot, it was not surprising to see him hooked a few minutes after the restart.<\/p>\n

RASMUS HOJLUND \u2013 5<\/p>\n

A largely ineffective afternoon for the Danish forward before he was subbed late on. Nothing wrong with his work-rate but does he have the quality Amorim will want?<\/p>\n

EVANS for Dalot 57 \u2013 6<\/p>\n

Stepped off the bench and slotted straight in.<\/p>\n

GARNACHO for Rashford 57 \u2013 7<\/p>\n

Much more of a threat than Rashford and a stunning goal to seal it.<\/p>\n

ZIRKZEE for Hojlund 75 \u2013 5<\/p>\n

Didn\u2019t see much of the ball in his cameo.<\/p>\n

ERIKSEN for Casemiro 79 \u2013 5<\/p>\n
