Walker is one of the top position players available on the open market. He became an everyday player with the\u00a0Arizona Diamondbacks\u00a0in 2019, and he has been one of the better\u00a0first baseman in baseball since.<\/p>\n<p>Walker hit a career-high 36 home runs in 2022 while also having 5.0 wins above replacement. He received MVP consideration in 2023 after hitting 33 homers and driving in a personal-best 103 runs. The first baseman also had a .830 OPS, his best mark in a full regular season in his career.<\/p>\n<div class=\"m-detail--body\">\n<p>Walker earned his third consecutive Gold Glove award in 2024 while also having 26 home runs and 84 RBIs.
