The Dallas Cowboys are going through a tumultuous (to say the least) 2024 campaign.\u00a0Their off-season was largely focused on signing Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb.\u00a0Very few free agent signings were made by the team.\u00a0Even less who have have a significant impact on this season.<\/p>\n

However, Jerry Jones may have just lost the rest of his fan base after his most recent decision.<\/p>\n

WR Jonathan Mingo was acquired by the Cowboys via trade, according to Tom Pelissero of ESPN.<\/p>\n

According to Pelissero, Dallas is exchanging its 2025 fourth-round draft pick for Mingo and Carolina\u2019s 2025 seventh round pick.<\/p>\n

In his weekly radio interview, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones teased a trade for a receiver, saying it was for a player they liked prior to the draft.<\/p>\n

Before the 2023 draft, the Dallas Cowboys hosted Mingo for a top-30 visit.<\/p>\n

Social media is blasting the team over the move, not just because of Mingo\u2019s stats but also because of what they gave up to get him instead of doing it for another player.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Dallas Cowboys gave up more to get Jonathan Mingo than the Kansas City Chiefs did to get\u00a0DeAndre Hopkins.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
