NFL fans are worried for\u00a0Miami Dolphins\u00a0quarterback\u00a0Tua Tagovailoa\u00a0after a concerning announcement about his plans, with a return to football just around the corner.<\/p>\n

Tua Tagovailoa has been sidelined since suffering a concussion in Week 2 against the Buffalo Bills. Per ESPN\u2019s Marcel Louis-Jacques, Miami head coach\u00a0Mike McDaniel\u00a0told reporters on Monday that Tagovailoa will\u00a0return to practice\u00a0this week and should be good to go for Week 8 against the Arizona Cardinals.<\/p>\n

Tagovailoa has now had three confirmed concussions in his career, a concerning number for a 26-year-old QB. The 2020 first-round pick missed five games in 2022 (including Miami\u2019s Wild Card Round playoff game) because of concussion\/head-related injuries.<\/p>\n

Fans and medical experts have called for Tua Tagovailoa to wear a Guardian Cap to reduce the chance of getting additional concussions. But during his press conference on Monday, Tagovailoa said he doesn\u2019t plan to wear one.<\/p>\n

\u201cI appreciate your concern,\u201d he said, per CBS Sports\u2019 Jonathan Jones. \u201cI really do. I love this game. And I love it to the death of me. That\u2019s it.\u201d<\/p>\n
