Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy shared a handwritten note\u00a0Taylor Swift<\/span>\u00a0had sent him when he attended her show Saturday, and fans were all saying the same thing about her signature and penmanship.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The 34-year-old singer-songwriter made a friendly gesture at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium to the media mogul, 47, after he took to her defense more than a month ago.<\/p>\n

The Shake It Off singer, who is on her\u00a0lucrative Eras Tour, penned the correspondence to the media mogul\u00a0after Portnoy came to her defense<\/span>\u00a0after she found herself under social media fire<\/span>\u00a0last month.<\/p>\n

Swift\u00a0received flak from a number of people<\/span>\u00a0after putting herself into the political arena in\u00a0endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris<\/span>, the\u00a0Democrat<\/span>\u00a0candidate in next month’s presidential election.<\/p>\n

Swift last month took to Instagram to declare her support for the Democrat ticket following Harris’ debate with the Republican candidate, former President\u00a0Donald Trump<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Taylor Swift’s penmanship was questioned after Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy posted an image of a handwritten she had sent him Saturday<\/p>\n

‘I will be casting my vote for\u00a0Kamala Harris<\/span>\u00a0and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election,’ Swift said. ‘I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them.<\/p>\n

‘I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos.’<\/p>\n

The feted entertainer encouraged her fans to get informed on the issues at hand before casting their ballots.<\/p>\n

‘I’ve done my research, and I’ve made my choice,’ Swift said. ‘Your research is all yours to do, and the choice is yours to make.’<\/p>\n

Portnoy, a self-proclaimed Swift superfan\u00a0who has endorsed Trump<\/span>, defended the musical artist in a post, saying he didn’t change his opinion on her because they have differing political views.<\/p>\n

‘As the king of the Swifties people are asking me what I think of her Kamala endorsement,’ Portnoy said. ‘I don’t care at all. People can vote for whoever they want in this country.<\/p>\n

‘How somebody votes will never change my opinion of a person. I’m voting the other way but to each their own.’<\/p>\n

Swift told Portnoy in the letter, ‘Dave, I’m so happy to have you at the show tonight! I wanted to say thank you for always being so supportive, so loyal, and for having my back when a lot of people didn’t.’<\/p>\n

Portnoy said that he met Swift’s brother Austin and mother Andrea, but didn’t meet Taylor herself.<\/p>\n

‘I didn’t meet Taylor – that’s fine – I don’t think she ever really meets people when she’s performing,’ he said.<\/p>\n

Portnoy said the note itself meant more to him since the musical artist ‘took time out’ of her packed slate to pen it.<\/p>\n
