The Dallas Cowboys currently sit in third place in the NFC East with a 3-3 record.\u00a0 Not the start that many Dallas fans expected, given the team is coming off three straight 12-win seasons.<\/p>\n

Many analysts have pegged Dallas as buyers at the trade deadline to try to find one more piece for a Super Bowl run.\u00a0 However, there is one star who won\u2019t be joining forces.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to journalist\u00a0Sean Deveney:<\/p>\n

Getting Kamara to the Cowboys was an idea floated by former NFL quarterback and analyst Robert Griffin III,\u00a0who wrote on Twitter\/X:<\/p>\n

\u201cIf the New Orleans Saints continue to stink up the joint these next few weeks, the Dallas Cowboys should see if they are in sell mode and trade for Alvin Kamara.\u201d<\/p>\n

Alvin Kamara Is Not Looking to Be Traded<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

That does make some sense. Kamara is in the fourth year of a\u00a0five-year, $75 million contract,\u00a0though the Saints have pushed a lot of that money to next season, when Kamara is on the books for a $29 million cap hit, which would require a restructure from the team and Kamara.<\/p>\n

But when the notion of a Kamara-Cowboys link began making the rounds on Twitter\/X,\u00a0Kamara himself chimed in. One since-deleted report suggested Kamara had requested a trade.<\/p>\n

\u201cI ain request a trade.. so that\u2019s a lie. I\u2019m in an orange robe on the way to Knoxville.. #WhoDat,\u201d he wrote.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
