Alexander Isak\u2019s goal in the 12th minute proved to be the difference between the two teams as the Gunners labored at St. James\u2019 Park.<\/p>\n

With Mikel Arteta\u2019s team now seven points behind league leaders Liverpool, Arsenal\u2019s loss cast doubt on their ability to win the championship.<\/p>\n

The England international, though, seems certain that Arsenal has what it takes to make things better.<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old, who led Arsenal as captain on Saturday, wrote a note to his teammates on Instagram.<\/p>\n

Following Arsenal\u2019s loss against Newcastle, Bukayo Saka issued a message to his teammates.<\/p>\n

\u2018We stick together!\u2019 Saka posted in his Instagram story on Saturday night.<\/p>\n

Arsenal lost to Bournemouth on the road last month, then drew 2-2 with Liverpool at home before falling to Newcastle.<\/p>\n

Saka has frequently contributed significantly even in spite of Arsenal\u2019s struggles this season.<\/p>\n

In nine Premier League appearances, the 23-year-old star has three goals and seven assists.<\/p>\n

Wednesday night marks Arsenal\u2019s return to action when they travel to play Inter Milan in the Champions League.<\/p>\n

On November 10, they will travel to play Chelsea in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

Saka insisted that it is important for Arsenal to stick together following their defeat<\/p>\n

Arteta admitted that Arsenal \u2018deserved to lose\u2019 against Newcastle.<\/p>\n

The Arsenal boss said:\u00a0\u2018We deserved to lose today. I thought we started really well and were really dominant.\u00a0We didn\u2019t defend the box well enough, credit to them. They scored a great goal with a good ball.<\/p>\n

\u2018Then the game changes and you start to play a different game. You have to adapt and we didn\u2019t do that well enough. I am very frustrated.<\/p>\n

\u2018We got dragged into a game they are looking for constantly and we couldn\u2019t play the game that we wanted.<\/p>\n

\u2018We had two big chances \u2014 Mikel (Merino) had a big one, Declan (Rice) had a big one. We lacked answers.\u2019<\/p>\n<\/article>\n
