ENGLEWOOD, Colo. \u2014\u00a0On Wednesday, Baltimore Ravens head coach\u00a0John Harbaugh<\/strong>\u00a0said quarterback\u00a0Lamar Jackson<\/strong>\u2018s absence from practice was no big deal.<\/p>\n

\u201cA rest day,\u201d Harbaugh said. \u201cHe\u2019s been playing great, and we have a lot of football in front of us. We have another big game coming up, so that was warranted today.\u201d<\/p>\n

But when the Ravens released their first injury report of the week, it indicated that Jackson\u2019s absence was because of back and knee injuries. Whatever. No big deal.<\/p>\n

Then Jackson missed Thursday\u2019s practice, his second straight absence. And Harbaugh doesn\u2019t hold a press conference on Thursdays, so there\u2019s no update.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think Lamar\u2019s going to play,\u201d Broncos defensive coordinator Vance Joseph said on Thursday. \u201cIt\u2019s midseason. Maybe he\u2019s a little beat up. But he\u2019s always answered the bell. He\u2019s going to play.\u201d<\/p>\n

Joseph is probably right\u2026 but if Jackson misses Friday\u2019s practice, it will be cause for concern. The Ravens will release an injury status on Friday; in, probable, questionable, doubtful or out.<\/p>\n

Even if Jackson plays on Sunday, two missed practices could make an impact.<\/p>\n

The standard NFL schedule looks like this\u2026<\/p>\n

Monday: Recovery and meetings.
\nTuesday: Off day.
\nWednesday: Practice, typically installing the base offense for the upcoming game.
\nThursday: Practice, typically focusing on situations like third downs or red zone.
\nFriday: Another practice that typically focuses on situations like third downs or red zone.
\nSaturday: Walkthroughs and meetings.
\nSunday: Gameday.<\/p>\n

Jackson is a veteran. Missing a couple of practices is no big deal. But the Ravens\u2019 offense might carry over more plays from previous weeks than you\u2019d typically expect since Jackson will miss at least two-thirds of the on-field install time.<\/p>\n

And how much different is a 90% Lamar Jackson compared to the full-strength two-time MVP winner? We\u2019ll find out on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Full Injury Report<\/h2>\n

The Broncos and Ravens\u00a0released their updated njury reports ahead of their game on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The big news, of course, is Jackson\u2019s absence.<\/p>\n

On the Baltimore side, there isn\u2019t much new information.<\/p>\n

On Denver\u2019s side,\u00a0Mike McGlinchey<\/strong>\u00a0grew from a non-participant to a limited participant. Only safety\u00a0PJ Locke<\/strong>\u00a0did not participate in practice.<\/p>\n
