Lebron James<\/strong>\u00a0continues to dominate the NBA. He is the oldest active player in the league and yet performs at his best. As the league continues to see a wave of young superstars coming in, NBA veteran\u00a0Rashad McCants<\/strong>\u00a0had some harsh words for the rest of the league.<\/p>\n

LeBron James\u00a0has coasted his way to averaging 20.0 points, 7.5 assists, and 7.0 rebounds in the early goings of the 2024-25 season. However, his\u00a0signature performance\u00a0came against the Sacramento Kings earlier this week. After a dominant fourth-quarter performance against the Kings, McCants called out the rest of the NBA for \u2018allowing\u2019 the 39-year-old James to dominate the league.<\/p>\n

McCants called out the young talent in the league for not matching up to an older LeBron James. Given the wave of young stars in the league, he found it embarrassing to see James easily dominate the rest of the league.<\/p>\n

Show host and former NBA player\u00a0Gilbert Arenas<\/strong>\u00a0also joined the conversation. He praised James still playing at a high level, even through his athletic decline.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s 40. I mean, he still makes it look like it\u2019s easy, he\u2019s just smarter now, right. He\u2019s not, you know, doing what he did when he was in his 20s. So yeah, he declined a long time (ago), he\u2019s been declined. He\u2019s 40<\/em>.<\/p>\n

James finished the game against the Sacramento Kings with 32 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists to record his first triple-double of the year. He capped off the game with 16 points on 6\/6 shooting alongside six assists and five rebounds in the fourth quarter alone.<\/p>\n

James has had a rollercoaster week. After a\u00a0dominant outing\u00a0against the Sacramento Kings, the Lakers superstar followed it up with an off night, scoring just 11 points in a loss against the Phoenix Suns.<\/p>\n

However, the 39-year-old star will look to make a big impact when he plays in his hometown in Cleveland on Wednesday night. It will be a special night for LeBron, who may share the floor in his hometown with his son\u00a0Bronny James<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s definitely going to be very special to be back home and be able to run the floor with my son spent a lot of time on that floor throughout my days when I played there for 11 years<\/em>.<\/p>\n
