Taylor Swift\u00a0fans have praised the pop star for how she dealt with a stage malfunction during one of her\u00a0sold-out Eras shows.<\/p>\n
The\u00a0\u201cFortnight\u201d singer\u00a0was performing her song\u00a0\u201cWho\u2019s Afraid of Little Old Me\u201d\u00a0at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday (28 October), which she usually does from a reflective silver platform that moves down the catwalk while she sings.<\/p>\n
However, the platform, which fans have affectionately named the \u201cTayoomba\u201d, appeared to stop working as the\u00a0performance got underway.<\/p>\n
Without showing any sign that something was wrong, Swift got off the platform and danced down the catwalk while her backup dancers followed suit.<\/p>\n
The \u201cTayoomba\u201d was pushed off the stage and not used for Swift\u2019s next song, \u201cDown Bad\u201d, also from her latest album,\u00a0The Tortured Poets Department<\/em>.<\/p>\n Fans praised Swift and her dancers for their handling of the malfunction, with some suggesting the performance was \u201calmost better this way \u2013 her improvisation was incredible\u201d.<\/p>\n
