Dallas CB took exception to TV analyst’s critique of a third-quarter play<\/div>\n

Tension was at an all-time high for the\u00a0Dallas Cowboys\u00a0following their 30-24 loss to the\u00a0San Francisco 49ers\u00a0on \u201cSunday Night Football.\u201d<\/p>\n

And one player carried his frustration from the sideline to the locker room and took it out on one of the team\u2019s local reporters after the game.<\/p>\n

Early in the third quarter of Sunday\u2019s loss, Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs was roasted on social media after 49ers tight end\u00a0George Kittle\u00a0burned the Dallas defense for a 43-yard gain.<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t that Diggs was assigned to cover Kittle, but fans were ripping him apart because for nearly 30 yards of the play Diggs is seen slowly jogging down the sideline and not making much of an effort to try and tackle Kittle.<\/p>\n

Mike Leslie of WFAA ABC 8 in Dallas was among those who pointed out Diggs\u2019 blunder, quote tweeting a video of the play asking what Diggs was doing. Apparently, Leslie\u2019s line of questioning didn\u2019t sit right with Diggs, who made a beeline for the television reporter on his way to the locker room to have some words with him.<\/p>\n
