Between\u00a0Rashod Bateman\u2019s drop\u00a0and\u00a0Jameis Winston\u2019s postgame taunts, the Baltimore Ravens had a bad day. And here are the Ravens most to blame for the Week 8 loss to the Browns.<\/p>\n

Browns quarterback Jameis Winston tossed a 38-yard touchdown pass \u2014 his third scoring strike of the game \u2014 to Cedric Tillman with 59 seconds left. And the lowly Browns knocked off the well-respected Ravens on Sunday to snap a five-game losing streak.<\/p>\n

The Ravens fell to 5-3 and left the field with plenty of questions to answer for the somewhat shocking loss to their rivals.<\/p>\n

Ravens QB\u00a0Lamar Jackson\u00a0had a poor performance<\/strong><\/h2>\n

First, let\u2019s be fair. Jackson is so good, he sets his own high bar. It\u2019s difficult week to week not to fall short of it. In this game, he had 15 incomplete passes in 38 attempts. Jackson finished with 289 yards passing and two touchdowns while rushing for 46 yards on eight attempts.<\/p>\n

The Browns harassed him and made it tough for him to keep the Ravens\u2019 offense moving consistently. Jackson said the Browns may be a tad underrated, according to espn.com.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can look at the Browns\u2019 record and say that\u2019s a sorry team, but this is the NFL,\u201d said Jackson. \u201cAny week can be your day. We didn\u2019t make the plays. We didn\u2019t make the calls to win the game.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, Jackson said the game could have\u00a0gone the other way, according to baltimoresun.com.<\/p>\n

\u201cLeft a lot of opportunities out there,\u201d Jackson said. \u201cJust not making those plays when they come to us. Simple as that. We just got to make them. It\u2019s no big theory behind it. We\u2019re just in a funk right now. A lot of those is big, game-changing plays.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ravens\u2019 head coach John Harbaugh said his team didn\u2019t do enough.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe just didn\u2019t do a good enough job with it,\u201d Harbaugh said of the play. \u201cAs a call, you look back, you wish you hadn\u2019t called that. You wish it would\u2019ve been better as a play. But that\u2019s football.\u201d<\/p>\n

The first half particularly showed a lack of spark for the Ravens\u2019 offense. They managed only 149 yards before the break.<\/p>\n

RB Derrick Henry didn\u2019t get untracked<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Henry finished with 73 yards on 11 carries, but a lot of that came on a big run. And the number of attempts suggests the Ravens didn\u2019t stick to the ground as much as they normally do.<\/p>\n

Harbaugh said the loss is\u00a0part of life\u00a0in the NFL, according to foxsports.com.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou’re not going to win every game,\u201d he said. \u201cIt was a tough situation coming in here. I think our guys handled all of that pretty well. We operated pretty well, (but) we didn’t do enough. We didn’t make the plays and that’s really what it boils down to.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike provided a more pointed response.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe know we should\u2019ve won that ballgame,\u201d defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike said. \u201cIt hurts. It\u2019s frustrating, point-blank frustrating. It hurts a little bit, but what can we do?\u201d’<\/p>\n

Kyle Hamilton dropped potential game-clinching pick<\/strong><\/h2>\n

On an overthrown pass by Winston, Hamilton should have reeled in an easy interception. Hamilton touched the ball five times before it fell to the ground and gave the Browns one last breath that they turned into a win. Hamilton stayed face down on the ground for a few seconds, knowing he likely could have ended the game.<\/p>\n

On the next play, Winston hit Cedric Tillman, who got behind Baltimore’s secondary and hauled in a 38-yard TD.<\/p>\n

Also, safety Eddie Jackson missed a chance for an interception. At least Jackson had the courage to face the media.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve just got to come down with it,\u201d Jackson said. \u201cThis one has got me sick. There is no big theory behind it. We\u2019re just not making game-changing plays. We\u2019ve just got to catch the ball. Now we\u2019ve got to live with this one and take it on the chin. But this one sucks.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harbaugh had questions to answer for his rotation at the safety position. Marcus Williams didn\u2019t play while Jackson and Ar-Darius Washington played alongside Hamilton. Harbaugh said the team is\u00a0working through things, according to baltimoreravens.com.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a personnel decision,\u201d Harbaugh said. \u201cWe’re kind of working through some things there. I feel very confident Marcus is going to be out there playing great football for the rest of the season.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cornerback Brandon Stephens said the Ravens could have\u00a0won the game, according to baltimoreravens.com.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe definitely have had our opportunities,\u201d cornerback Brandon Stephens said. \u201cWe had some opportunities in this game, even late in the fourth to end it.
