The veteran running back hasn\u2019t played since the playoffs last season with the Baltimore Ravens, but according to head coach\u00a0<strong>Mike McCarthy<\/strong>, he is ready to shine.<\/p>\n<p>McCarthy affirmed that Cook is available for the upcoming fixture against the 49ers. But why did it take the Cowboys so long to give Cook a chance? They have been horrible on the ground despite all-pro rusher Ezekiel Elliott\u2019s presence on the roster. The Cowboys rank last in both rushing yards (77.2) and attempts (3.5) per game, 30<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0in rushing attempts, and 29<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0yards after rush and attempt.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Mike McCarthy or Dak Prescott?
