This comment emerged during his appearance on the \u2018Doomscroll\u2019 podcast, where he discussed how artists often draw from their personal experiences to create their songs.<\/p>\n<p>He went on to elaborate on the significant themes he plans to include in his upcoming albums. So, my next record will be, hopefully, an enjoyable 1975 record, objectively. I\u2019m just not interested in it&#8230; the idea of making a record about something that personally happened to me that, by the time I put it out, is gonna be, like, two years old \u2014 I see people doing that, as well, and it\u2019s just not interesting.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Healy then stated that he will focus on writing about &#8220;subjects that I&#8217;m really interested in.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>However, he assured his fans that &#8220;there\u2019ll be some kind of love songs on there.&#8221; He also confirmed to his 1975 fans that he and the band do not plan to embark on a large promotional tour as they have in the past. He wasn&#8217;t into her, she wasn&#8217;t into him, it was a two minute fling, move on.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The fourth user shared, &#8220;Don&#8217;t worry Matt.
