Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry is off to a historic start to the season, and impressing his quarterback, Lamar Jackson, in the process.<\/p>\n

Through the first seven games of this season, Henry is already knocking on the doorstep of 1,000 rushing yards with 873 on 134 carries while also scoring eight touchdowns as the driving force of the Ravens\u2019 offense.<\/span><\/p>\n

At this rate, Eric Dickerson\u2019s single-season rushing record of 2,105 yards could be well within Henry\u2019s reach with ten games remaining.<\/p>\n

Jackson needed just two words to describe his feelings about Henry\u2019s chances.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s there,\u201d Jackson told reporters, when asked about Henry\u2019s chances.<\/span><\/p>\n

Monday night, Henry created some serious distance between the Ravens and Buccaneers when he rattled off an 82-yard run, on his way to finishing with 169 yards.<\/p>\n

<\/span>Henry has already surpassed 100 rushing yards in four of his last five games, underscoring Jackson\u2019s confidence that the future Hall of Fame running back can make this a record-setting season.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like he has a great chance of achieving that. I think he can do it. I believe he can do it,\u201d Jackson said.<\/p>\n
