Tottenham Hotspur have truly had some legends of the game play in their shirts over the years despite their recent struggles in lifting silverware.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ange Postecoglou\u00a0landed in north London with Heung-min Son at his disposal but there have been plenty of of high profile players to come before him.<\/p>\n

It has been a story of inconsistency for\u00a0Tottenham\u00a0this season with the Lilywhites failing to nail down any kind of positive form of late.<\/p>\n

There are plenty of reasons to be positive, though, with\u00a0Postecoglou so excited by Archie Gray\u00a0after what he\u2019s seen from the youngster.<\/p>\n

But there are certainly a few players from the club\u2019s past that the Australian would gladly have taken to bolster his starting XI in north London.<\/p>\n

Gareth Bale hailed as better than Ronaldinho and Neymar<\/h2>\n

Spurs have seen some huge names come and go over the years with Harry Kane marking their latest big-name departure last year.<\/p>\n

Liverpool\u2019s Harvey Barnes suggested Kane is better than Mohamed Salah\u00a0recently and there\u2019s now a former Liverpool player also hailing another former Spurs attacker.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Daily Mail Sport, Steve McManaman has claimed former Spurs and Real Madrid attacker\u00a0Gareth Bale\u00a0was better than a host of legends to play the game.<\/p>\n
