‘Homesick’\u00a0<\/a>Adele<\/span>\u00a0is considering a\u00a0move back to London<\/span>\u00a0with fianc\u00e9\u00a0Rich Paul<\/span>\u00a0because she has ‘become disillusioned with Hollywood’, according to sources who claim the singer is aiming to start spending more time in the UK.<\/p>\n

The British singer, 36, announced that she\u00a0would be taking a break<\/span>\u00a0from performing after her\u00a0Las Vegas<\/span>\u00a0residency came to an end this month, warning fans they wouldn’t see her for ‘an incredibly long time.’<\/p>\n

Now it appears Adele, who has eight-year-old son Angelo, is planning to enjoy her time away from the limelight in her native London.<\/p>\n

Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com, an insider said the singer –\u00a0who is worth an estimated\u00a0$220 million (\u00a3173 million) – has already started hunting for a property.<\/p>\n

‘Adele has instructed her people to look for a “beautiful and secure” home for her in the capital,’ they said.<\/p>\n

The source made it clear that the star has no plans to sell the lavish\u00a0$58million Beverly Hills mansion<\/span>\u00a0she shares with Rich, but only wants to spend half of the year in America.<\/p>\n

The singer, 36, has no plans to sell the lavish $58million Beverly Hills mansion she shares with her fianc\u00e9 Rich Paul, but intends to spend half of the year in America and half in her native UK<\/p>\n

‘She plans on keeping her house in LA, but wants to spend at least half the year back home,’ they said.<\/p>\n

Adele finally wrapped her Las Vegas residency on November 23 after a two-year stint at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.<\/p>\n

She is determined to take the chance to spend more time in her homeland\u00a0with her son Angelo<\/span>, eight, and her sports agent fianc\u00e9, in what some fans believe to be the\u00a0start of an ‘early retirement.’<\/span><\/p>\n

‘Rich has been trying to talk her out of it, but Adele is a very strong woman,’ the source noted. ‘Once she\u2019s made up her mind, no one can change it.’<\/p>\n

A new London home would further increase her\u00a0impressive property portfolio\u00a0<\/span>in the UK.<\/p>\n

After selling a $3.6million art Deco house in Brighton and a $5 million Tudor manor house in East Grinstead, the singer still owns a $11million apartment in west London, which boasts a 24-hour concierge and a climate-controlled wine store.<\/p>\n

Back in 2021, she was also granted permission to combine a mews house and townhouse in Kensington into a mansion which she purchased for over $13million.<\/p>\n

The redesign set her back a reported $3.1million, but the star has never officially moved into the abode.<\/p>\n

When Adele first purchased her Beverly Hills home, many believed it was a sign that she was looking to truly set some roots down in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

Sources had previously told DailyMail.com that Adele had considered\u00a0transitioning to acting<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The source stated at the time that she had been taking ‘intense acting lessons from a top Hollywood coach’ and had ‘instructed’ her team to ‘put the word out’ to major film studios and producers.’<\/p>\n

But she has not been presented with the opportunities she had hoped for, leaving her ‘disillusioned’ with Hollywood.<\/p>\n

‘She thought she\u2019d already be getting movie offers after her reps put the word out a few months ago that she wanted to follow in Lady Gaga\u2019s footsteps and segue into film,’ the insider said.<\/p>\n

‘But nothing has materialized on that front so far.’<\/p>\n

Adele isn’t the only star feeling disillusioned with the United States, and could join a\u00a0swathe of famous faces who are relocating<\/span>, in particular to the UK.<\/p>\n

Several British stars have fled in recent months due to fears about the political landscape after Donald Trump defeated Kamala Harris in the presidential election earlier this month.<\/p>\n

Actress Minnie Driver, 54, told The Times of London in July that she had returned to the UK after nearly three decades of living in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

And at the time, she revealed that if Trump were to be re-elected, she would have a hard time returning to America.<\/p>\n

‘If I lived in a red [Republican] state, no, I couldn\u2019t [return],’ she said. ‘But living in California, you are somewhat insulated.<\/p>\n

‘But do you want to go and live in a bubble? Do you run away from the fire or do you go back and help?’<\/p>\n
