Ruud van Nistelrooy will need to make improvements in January if he is to help Leicester City avoid relegation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Leicester City are on the verge of appointing Ruud van Nistelrooy\u00a0as their new manager ahead of the weekend\u2019s games.<\/p>\n

The Foxes sacked Steve Cooper\u00a0on November 24th on the back of a 2-1 defeat to Chelsea which left the club 16th in the Premier League table and just one point above the relegation zone.<\/p>\n

In turn, the Dutchman is going to have his work cut out in the coming months if he is to avoid relegation in the 2024\/25 campaign.<\/p>\n

Martin Keown has already doubted Van Nistelrooy\u00a0before he has even taken charge of a single game for the Foxes.<\/p>\n

But with the January transfer window fast approaching, the incoming manager will have the perfect chance to strengthen his new Leicester side.<\/p>\n

With this in mind, we have taken a look at three PSV Eindhoven players\u00a0Van Nistelrooy\u00a0could now poach from his former club, whom he won a cup double with during his one season in charge back in 2022\/23.<\/p>\n

Noa Lang<\/h2>\n

Leicester\u00a0are currently short of quality-wide options due to\u00a0Abdul Fatawu being ruled out for the season.<\/p>\n

In turn, a new wide player should be targeted in January and Noa Lang would be a great choice.<\/p>\n

Lang has four goals and four assists in 16 league games this season and has previously earned some high praise.<\/p>\n

Back in 2021, the winger\u2019s agent spoke about the 25-year-old being compared to Neymar, as per\u00a0Calciomercato.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cHe always works hard and has excellent technique, dribbling and vision. He is also an excellent decision maker and a clean finisher.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe is also a generous player, far from selfish. I have heard many people say that he resembles\u00a0Neymar, especially after the PSG match\u201d.<\/p>\n

Hirving Lozano<\/h2>\n

Hirving Lozano is another very experienced forward who would bring plenty of goals to Leicester.<\/p>\n

The 29-year-old has four in five league matches this term. His season was halted by injury but he has just returned to the team this month.<\/p>\n

Lozano is a natural left-winger but is a very versatile option who can operate on the opposite flank and through the middle.<\/p>\n

Leicester have previously seen exactly what Lozano is capable of back in 2021 when they were competing in Europe.<\/p>\n

Matteo Dams<\/h2>\n

As well as another winger, Leicester should be aiming to target a full-back in the upcoming winter window.<\/p>\n

James Justin has struggled with the Foxes during the early stages of the campaign, with clubs often targeting the defender down the right-hand side.<\/p>\n

Matteo Dams, while still only young, has been in great form for PSV this season and has started all but one league match.<\/p>\n
