Liam Payne<\/span>\u2019s heartbroken girlfriend cut a forlorn figure as she was seen in public for the first time since the superstar singer was laid to rest.<\/p>\n

Grief-stricken\u00a0Kate Cassidy<\/span>, 25, was spotted on a solo trip in central\u00a0London<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The American model braved the winter cold in a long white fluffy coat and a pair of dark jogging trousers as she strolled down the street before popping into a cafe.<\/p>\n

Clutching onto a mobile phone and small purse, she appeared without make-up and had her hair tied back as she walked anonymously through the busy streets.<\/p>\n

It comes just days after Kate joined the former\u00a0One Direction<\/span>\u00a0star\u2019s family and friends as they paid a tearful farewell to the star last week.<\/p>\n

Liam, 31, was laid to rest after his casket was driven to the 12th Century St Mary\u2019s Church in Amersham, Bucks, in a white horse drawn hearse.<\/p>\n

His One Direction bandmates\u00a0Harry Styles<\/span>,\u00a0Zayn Malik<\/span>,\u00a0Niall Horan<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0Louis Tomlinson<\/span>\u00a0were among mourners.<\/p>\n

They were united in grief as they appeared in public together for the first time since the band split in 2015.<\/p>\n

The grief-stricken model\u00a0 wrapped up in a fluffy winter coat and a pair of black joggers as she braved the chilly London weather<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The couple started dating in 2022 – pictured here at the Royal Albert Hall, London in December of that year Former Girls Aloud star Cheryl, mum to Liam\u2019s seven-year-old son Bear, was also in attendance.<\/p>\n

One of the floral displays showed bowling pins and a ball – a nod to his love of bowling, which Ms Cassidy said he did four times a week.<\/p>\n

Liam died on October 16 from head injuries he\u00a0suffered after falling from the balcony of his third-floor hotel suite in Buenos Aires, Argentina<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Liam and Kate had been in the country to\u00a0attend former bandmate Horan\u2019s sell out concert in the city<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Kate flew back to the couple\u2019s home in Miami on October 14 while Liam remained behind to renew his US visa.<\/p>\n

Following his death, she wrote an emotional tribute on Instagram saying: ‘Thank you for all of the kind words and love that has been sent my way.<\/p>\n

With her blonde locks slicked neatly slicked back into a high-bun, Kate focused on her phone<\/p>\n

‘I have been at a complete loss. Nothing about the past few days have felt real. I ask and pray that you’ll give me the grace and space to navigate this in private.’<\/p>\n

‘Liam, my angel. You are everything. I want you to know I loved you unconditionally and completely. I will continue to love you for the rest of my life. I love you Liam.’<\/p>\n

She told how the couple had been looking forward to getting married but\u00a0added: \u2018<\/span>Liam, I know we\u2019ll be together forever, but not in the way we had planned\u2019.<\/p>\n

Kate and Liam first started dating in October 2022, and\u00a0made their red carpet debut at the Fashion Awards later that year<\/span>.<\/p>\n
