One of the most successful players in the sports\u2019 history and arguably its finest ever on clay court, Nadal called time on his illustrious career following Spain\u2019s Davis Cup defeat to the Netherlands.<\/p>\n

The 38-year-old turned professional in 2001 and went on to win a remarkable 22 Grand Slam Men\u2019s Singles titles.<\/p>\n

A record 14 of those came in the French Open, with Nadal\u2019s 2022 triumph at Roland Garros proving to be his final major title.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s no secret that the tennis legend is also a skilled footballer, and he turned his attentions to a new sport when he was a special guest at the City Football Academy.<\/p>\n

Stopping for photos with the likes of\u00a0Pep Guardiola,\u00a0Erling Haaland,\u00a0Jack Grealish\u00a0and\u00a0Manuel Akanji, Nadal received a warm welcome from the squad and plenty of congratulations on his incredible career on the court.<\/p>\n
