Richard Gere<\/span>\u00a0is set to relocate to\u00a0Spain<\/span>\u00a0with his wife, Alejandra Silva, and family after years of living in the United States.<\/p>\n

The Pretty Woman actor, 75, revealed that he would be out of the country and in the Spanish capital of Madrid in time to celebrate\u00a0Thanksgiving<\/span>\u00a0with Alejandra’s loved ones.<\/p>\n

Sharing the major move on Wednesday’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring\u00a0Jimmy Fallon<\/span>, Richard began by joking: ‘My wife is Spanish. Is this a problem for anybody out there?’<\/p>\n

He then announced: ‘But my wife is Spanish, and she gave me about seven years here, so we’re going to spend some years in Madrid.’<\/p>\n

‘Our kids are bilingual so they’re going to flourish there,’ he continued.<\/p>\n

Richard and Alejandra, who wed in 2018, share two sons: Alexander, five, and James, four.<\/p>\n

In addition, the Hollywood A-lister is stepfather to the Spanish activist’s 11-year-son, Albert.<\/p>\n

He is also dad to son Homer, 24, whom he welcomed with his second wife, actress Carey Lowell.<\/p>\n

The Pretty Woman actor confirmed his plans to relocate on\u00a0The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/p>\n

Richard did confirm that he won’t be quitting America forever and added: ‘Of course I’ll be back.’<\/p>\n

Speaking about his family, Richard gushed: ‘I love my wife, she’s incredible. Great mother.<\/p>\n

‘Kids are healthy and happy. Of course, there’s nothing more than that.’<\/p>\n

Turning his attention to their Thanksgiving plans, he continued: ‘My wife grew up in a big Spanish family, like a big Italian family, and her grandmother was kind of the glue that held that all together.<\/p>\n

‘And the grandmother passed away [about] two years ago, so my wife, I can see her morphing into the new grandmother of this extended family.<\/p>\n

‘So she\u2019s already planning for 35 people for Sunday lunches.’<\/p>\n

Surprisingly, Richard isn’t the only celeb to ditch the U.S. of late.<\/p>\n

According to The Wrap, Ellen DeGeneres’\u00a0recently moved to England\u00a0<\/span>with her wife, Portia de Rossi.<\/p>\n

The couple share two sons,\u00a0Alexander, five, and James, four, as well as Alejandra’s son from a previous relationship<\/p>\n

The couple are now reportedly living in the Cotswolds, a rural portion of southwest England that is about 100 miles from London.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile,\u00a0Eva Longoria fled what she claims to be a ‘dystopian’ America<\/span>\u00a0and now lives between Mexico and Spain in fear that if ‘Trump keeps his promises’ America will become a ‘scary place.’<\/p>\n

Richard’s appearance on of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon came hours after he flipped off Savannah Guthrie at the start of his interview on the Today show.<\/p>\n

The program quickly derailed when the show aired a clip of the actor starring in his new political thriller, The Agency.<\/p>\n

Producers, however, cut the scene before the A-lister’s character Bosko gave the middle finger, so Richard took matters into his own hands and acted out the moment live in Studio 1A.<\/p>\n

As Savannah introduced him to viewers, Richard proudly flipped her off leaving her completely shocked.<\/p>\n

Defending the move, Richard said: ‘Sorry, but that’s what I did in the piece.’<\/p>\n

A stunned Savannah instantly attempted to hide Richard’s hand with her script, while declaring that she was ‘bleeping’ him.<\/p>\n
