Singer and former\u00a0One Direction\u00a0member\u00a0Liam Payne\u00a0tragically died age 31 exactly one month ago, after falling from a balcony.<\/p>\n

In the short weeks since his death on October 16, new information has come to light surrounding the circumstances leading up to the fateful day, including\u00a0three arrests being made in connection to his passing.<\/p>\n

Payne died while\u00a0staying at the Casa Sur Hotel<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0Buenos Aires<\/strong>,\u00a0Argentina<\/strong>, with an autopsy confirming that he died from multiple injuries sustained in his fall that led to \u2018internal and external haemorrhaging.\u2019<\/p>\n

The Little Things hitmaker was a beloved UK musician after shooting to fame alongside his former bandmates \u2014\u00a0Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, and Harry Styles \u2014 on X Factor in 2014.<\/p>\n

The group released a heartbreaking joint statement one day after his passing as well as\u00a0individual tributes<\/strong>\u00a0dedicated to their \u2018brother\u2019.<\/p>\n

Payne\u00a0leaves behind his son, Bear,<\/strong>\u00a0seven, who he shares with\u00a0Cheryl Cole<\/strong>, his parents, Geoff and Karen Payne and his girlfriend,\u00a0Kate Cassidy.<\/p>\n

When will Liam Payne\u2019s funeral be?<\/h2>\n

No details surrounding\u00a0Payne\u2019s funeral\u00a0have been announced yet, but it\u2019s expected to be a private service at a cathedral in his home town of Wolverhampton in the coming days.<\/p>\n

While it\u2019s unclear whether his former bandmates will attend the funeral,\u00a0The Mirror\u00a0reported that Cassidy, Cole, and his son will likely attend. Payne\u2019s A-list friends, including\u00a0James Corden,\u00a0Nicole Scherzinger,\u00a0Rita Ora, and former mentor\u00a0Simon Cowell, may also be in attendance.<\/p>\n

A source previously told\u00a0Mail Online: \u2018Liam will have a very big send-off, quite probably at a large cathedral somewhere close to his heart. Liam was so loved by so many people, there will obviously be enormous demand and so the service will necessarily be a huge affair.\u2019<\/p>\n

It comes 10 days after his body was released to his family to be\u00a0flown back to the UK.<\/p>\n

On November 7, Argentina\u2019s public prosecutor confirmed three people were arrested in connection to Payne\u2019s death. Two hotel workers are among the three detained, with a friend of Payne\u2019s also having their home raided before being arrested.<\/p>\n

The three had been formally charged with \u2018abandonment of a person followed by death, supply, and facilitation of narcotics\u2019, with the crimes punishable by a prison sentence of up to 15 years on conviction, if found guilty.<\/p>\n

Rogelio \u2018Roger\u2019 Nores, Payne\u2019s close friend was speculated to be the person whose home was raided, however he denied the claims to\u00a0MailOnline.<\/p>\n

\u2018I never abandoned Liam,\u2019 he said. \u2018I\u2019m really heart-broken with this tragedy, and I\u2019ve been missing my friend every day.\u2019<\/p>\n

Liam Payne dropped by record label days before death<\/h2>\n

Just days before his death, Payne was\u00a0reportedly dropped by his label, Universal Music.<\/p>\n

Payne, signed with Universal\u2019s Capitol Records imprint after One Direction announced their hiatus in 2015, but following a recent reshuffle, was being managed under the main label.<\/p>\n

Days prior to his death however, he was no longer listed as an artist or writer for the label with sources confirming to\u00a0MailOnline\u00a0<\/strong>he had been dropped just last week: \u2018Liam\u2019s advance was massive and he didn\u2019t recoup [it]. Out of all of the One Direction boys, Liam was on the wrong path musically.\u2019<\/p>\n

Some of the more heartbreaking details emerging surrounding Payne\u2019s death include his\u00a0final social media posts<\/strong>, which came less than an hour before\u00a0news of his death was first reported.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Posted on\u00a0Snapchat<\/strong>, the star shared a throwback image of him and Cassidy, 25, posing in a mirror, as well as pictures of his breakfast in his hotel room.<\/p>\n

In one video that Payne shared, he joked with the\u00a0TikToker<\/strong>\u00a0that she shouldn\u2019t leave her hat on a table and told fans they had been getting up at 1pm every day.<\/p>\n

The video was likely taken days earlier as Cassidy flew back to the US two days before he passed. She said in a vlog that she dislikes staying in one place for \u2018too long\u2019 and \u2018had to go home\u2019.<\/p>\n

Perhaps most upsetting, Payne had shared images from his reunion with Horan at the Slow Hands\u2019 singer\u2019s concert he and Cassidy attended in early October, marking the last known time Horan saw his former band mate.<\/p>\n

Liam Payne reportedly \u2018overwhelmed\u2019 by legal issues<\/h2>\n

Payne had also been dealing with some\u00a0legal difficulties\u00a0in the days leading up to his death after his ex-fiancee\u00a0Maya Henry issued a cease and desist<\/strong>\u00a0on October 9 and made accusations that he had been ceaselessly contacting her, using different iCloud accounts to continue to reach out.<\/p>\n

A source told\u00a0People magazine<\/strong>\u00a0that the former One Direction star \u2018was extremely overwhelmed by all of the legal issues\u2019.<\/p>\n

What happened on the night Liam Payne died?<\/h2>\n

Police are still putting together the exact events of Payne\u2019s final evening with concern over his\u00a0mental well-being and possible substance abuse.<\/p>\n

Speaking to media, one hotel guest said they saw Payne \u2018passed out and convulsing\u2019 in the lobby of the hotel just minutes before he died, with a 28-year-old woman further revealing he displayed\u00a0\u2018disturbing and weird behaviour\u2019,\u00a0including smashing a laptop.<\/p>\n

She claimed that when she approached him and asked him if he was okay, he distressingly replied: \u2019I used to be in a boy band \u2013 that\u2019s why I\u2019m so f**ked up\u2019.<\/p>\n

Payne was also spotted with two woman and a man, who is understood to be Rogelio \u2018Roger\u2019 Nores, a friend of the singer who accompanied him during his Argentina stay.<\/p>\n

Payne\u2019s alleged behaviour in the hotel in the afternoon caused concern among hotel staff and the Casa Sur Palermo Hotel desk manager called emergency services to request assistance.<\/p>\n

The call was made at 5.04pm local time (9.04pm UK time) and heard the manager say: \u2018We need to send someone with urgency because I don\u2019t know if the guest\u2019s life is in danger because he is in a room with balcony, and we are afraid he could do something that threatens life.\u2019<\/p>\n

The Telegraph<\/strong>\u00a0reported that just seven minutes later, at 5.11pm local time (9.11pm UK), after Police and SAME (Medical Emergency Attention Service) arrived, Payne was pronounced dead.<\/p>\n

While it\u2019s unclear exactly\u00a0what occurred in Payne\u2019s hotel room\u00a0in the moments leading up to his death, the 911 call details the manager\u2019s concerns that the star was \u2018breaking everything in the room.\u2019<\/p>\n

They told law enforcement: \u2018We have a guest drunk with drugs and alcohol. When he [them, gender not clear in conversation] is conscious, he is breaking everything in the room\u2019.<\/p>\n

Also, in the call, they said they didn\u2019t know if he was \u2018in danger\u2019 but asked for urgent assistance as the room had a balcony.<\/p>\n

Alberto Crescenti, a director of emergency medical response service SAME, revealed yesterday that the injuries Payne sustained in the fall included a broken skull.<\/p>\n

Mr Crescenti described those injuries as \u2018incompatible with life\u2019 and referred specifically to the head wound, saying: \u2018According to the emergency medical team sent to the scene he had a fracture in the base of his skull, extremely serious injuries.\u2019<\/p>\n

A preliminary autopsy report also stated his fall led to multiple traumatic injuries and\u00a0\u2018internal and external haemorrhaging\u2019.<\/p>\n

Payne reportedly had traces of cocaine in his system when he died.<\/p>\n

Argentinian outlets previously claimed that the 1D star\u2019s early toxicology reports suggested that he had\u00a0pink cocaine\u00a0(which comprises several drugs), cocaine, benzodiazepine, and crack in his body.<\/p>\n
