In preparation for matchday 12 of La Liga, where they will play Valencia at Mestalla on Saturday at 9 p.m. CET, the team held their first practice of the week at Real Madrid City.
Stretching and warm-up exercises kicked off the training session. After that, the players worked out with an emphasis on pushing, building from the back, ball control, and possession.
They next played a series of difficult small-sided games before finishing with a set of sprinting drills. While Alaba, Courtois, Rodrygo, and Carvajal followed their own rehabilitation programs, Rüdiger worked out inside the facilities.
