Miami Heat star Tyler Herro has been with his girlfriend Katya Elise Henry since 2020, Herro’s second season in the NBA. The Heat selected Herro with the No. 13 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft and he is living the dream while also raising a family.
Tyler Herro and Katya Elise Henry share two kids, a daughter born in 2021 and a son born in 2023. On Tuesday afternoon, Henry shared photos of her family following the Miami Heat’s matchup versus the Detroit Pistons on Monday night.
“My loves,” Henry captioned her story post along with several heart emojis.
Henry also shared a video of her family posing for the photo on her Instagram story to DJ Khaled’s ‘Just Us’ featuring SZA. Herro and Henry ran into the paparazzi as they exited Kaseya Center to the players’ parking garage.
Tyler Herro, Heat take down Pistons on Monday
The Herro family had plenty to celebrate on Monday night, as the Miami Heat topped the Detroit Pistons 106-98 to advance to 2-1 through their first three games of the 2024-25 campaign. Herro was third among Heat players in scoring, notching up 19 points on seven of 20 shooting. He also assisted on six shots and grabbed four rebounds in the winning effort.
Jimmy Butler and Terry Rozier led the way for the Heat in the win. Butler notched a team-high 23 points on seven of 11 shooting with seven assists and four steals, while Rozier posted 20 points, five rebounds and three assists on seven of 16 shooting.
After a slow start to the season in Miami’s season-opening loss to the Orlando Magic on October 23, Tyler Herro has rebounded with two strong performances in back-to-back Heat wins. In Miami’s first win of the season on Saturday, Herro recorded 22 points, five rebounds and five assists on seven of 15 shooting.
In three games this season, Tyler Herro is the Heat’s second-leading scorer behind Terry Rozier. He has averaged 18.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.7 assists, shooting 42.2%.
