On Sunday, Miami Heat icon Dwyane Wade will be immortalized a statue of him will be unveiled at the Kaseya Center. Before the unveiling, Wade hosted an extravagant James Bond-themed party, featuring big names like DJ Khaled and Trina.
Wade uploaded pictures and videos from the event on his Instagram, giving his 20 million followers glimpses of his extravagant party.
Wade posted a story featuring an Aston Martin and accompanied a caption with it to kick off the celebrations.
“Statues are Forever 007,” Wade wrote.
In the next story, he posted a video of his grand entrance at the venue. The three-time NBA champion was surrounded by dancers as a trumpet blew off in harmony. Wade appeared on the stage wearing a white tuxedo, black pants and a black bowtie.
In his next stories, Wade posted pictures of himself with the guests, including a solo portrait with Miami Heat icon Udonis Haslem. He also posted pictures where he was standing beside David Alexander and Jon Marcus.
In the next few stories, Wade featured pictures of his legacy, framed and hung up on the walls of a hallway. He also showcased a big ‘003’ logo, inspired by the iconic ‘007’ tagline from the James Bond movies.
One guest from the party posted a video of the Miami Heat icon dancing with his wife with a big champagne bottle in one hand. He accompanied a caption with his post to express the importance of the event.

Another fan posted a video of Dwyane Wade dancing at the party with his wife Gabrielle Union. The couple were enjoying themselves and moving their bodies to hip-hop music in the background. A guest also uploaded a video of Trina performing at Wade’s celebration.
Lastly, Dwyane Wade uploaded pictures of DJ Khaled performing at his pre-statue unveiling party. Khaled wore a green shirt and white pants and hyped up the guests while performing on the stage.

Dwyane Wade shared a post bearing pictures of the street which is named after him, on his Instagram story. Before the unveiling of his statue on Sunday at the Kaseya Center, the Miami-Dade Board of County Commissioners unanimously agreed to rename a part of Northeast 7th Street as Dwyane Wade Boulevard.
Wade shared the Miami Heat post announcing the news on his story. In addition to it, Wade’s wife Gabrielle Union congratulated her husband for his achievement.
