Miami released QB to make room for Tagovailoa
The Miami Dolphins have Tua Tagovailoa back under center, which means the most recent signal caller to take a snap for the franchise is looking for new employment.
Miami cut Tim Boyle loose on Saturday, Oct. 26, after elevating Tagovailoa to the active roster. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the news via an X post.
“Dolphins officially activated quarterback Tua Tagovailoa off the injures reserve list and released quarterback Tim Boyle,” Schefter wrote.
Tagovailoa has been sidelined for the past five weeks after suffering a concussion against the Buffalo Bills in Week 2. He spent much of that time on the injured reserve list (IR).
The Dolphins went 1-3 in Tagovailoa’s absence. The team’s bye week was also part of the the QB’s stretch on IR.
