‘Homesick’ Adele is considering a move back to London with fiancé Rich Paul because she has ‘become disillusioned with Hollywood’, according to sources who claim the singer is aiming to start spending more time in the UK.
The British singer, 36, announced that she would be taking a break from performing after her Las Vegas residency came to an end this month, warning fans they wouldn’t see her for ‘an incredibly long time.’
Now it appears Adele, who has eight-year-old son Angelo, is planning to enjoy her time away from the limelight in her native London.
Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com, an insider said the singer – who is worth an estimated $220 million (£173 million) – has already started hunting for a property.
‘Adele has instructed her people to look for a “beautiful and secure” home for her in the capital,’ they said.
The source made it clear that the star has no plans to sell the lavish $58million Beverly Hills mansion she shares with Rich, but only wants to spend half of the year in America.

‘She plans on keeping her house in LA, but wants to spend at least half the year back home,’ they said.
Adele finally wrapped her Las Vegas residency on November 23 after a two-year stint at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
She is determined to take the chance to spend more time in her homeland with her son Angelo, eight, and her sports agent fiancé, in what some fans believe to be the start of an ‘early retirement.’
‘Rich has been trying to talk her out of it, but Adele is a very strong woman,’ the source noted. ‘Once she’s made up her mind, no one can change it.’
A new London home would further increase her impressive property portfolio in the UK.
After selling a $3.6million art Deco house in Brighton and a $5 million Tudor manor house in East Grinstead, the singer still owns a $11million apartment in west London, which boasts a 24-hour concierge and a climate-controlled wine store.
Back in 2021, she was also granted permission to combine a mews house and townhouse in Kensington into a mansion which she purchased for over $13million.
The redesign set her back a reported $3.1million, but the star has never officially moved into the abode.

When Adele first purchased her Beverly Hills home, many believed it was a sign that she was looking to truly set some roots down in Los Angeles.
Sources had previously told DailyMail.com that Adele had considered transitioning to acting.
The source stated at the time that she had been taking ‘intense acting lessons from a top Hollywood coach’ and had ‘instructed’ her team to ‘put the word out’ to major film studios and producers.’
But she has not been presented with the opportunities she had hoped for, leaving her ‘disillusioned’ with Hollywood.
‘She thought she’d already be getting movie offers after her reps put the word out a few months ago that she wanted to follow in Lady Gaga’s footsteps and segue into film,’ the insider said.
‘But nothing has materialized on that front so far.’
Adele isn’t the only star feeling disillusioned with the United States, and could join a swathe of famous faces who are relocating, in particular to the UK.

Mendes, 50, told The Times last month that she and her husband, 43, were living in Notting Hill, London, with their two kids, adding: ‘We have access to those communal gardens. Seriously, it’s magical.’
A source previously told People that they opted to leave Los Angeles because they ‘didn’t want their girls to grow up around other celebrity kids.’
