Striker Neymar has spent £43 million to buy one of the most luxurious apartments in the world at the Bugatti Residence in Dubai, UAE.
The Brazilian striker signed a deal to buy the penthouse on the top floor of the building at a ceremony on November 18, according to the National World . His girlfriend, Bruna Biancardi, was also present at the event. The luxury apartment, called Sky Mansion, is said to be the home of Neymar, Bruna Biancardi and their daughter Mavie, the source said.
Neymar’s penthouse has an outdoor swimming pool and a private elevator that can bring cars right to the door. The skyscraper has 182 apartments, including 11 penthouses, and the sophisticated interior and exterior are described as “setting a new standard for luxury”. The developer touts the apartments as having airy, open spaces that welcome natural light thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows.
The Bugatti Residence project is a collaboration between the French luxury car manufacturer Bugatti and the UAE real estate development company Binghatti. This is the first Bugatti building in the world, targeting the super-rich. The project was launched late last year and is expected to be completed in about three years.
Neymar is currently earning a “huge” salary of £138 million a year in Saudi Arabia when playing for Al Hilal. However, the 32-year-old striker has been largely sidelined due to injury, having only played 7 matches in 15 months. Many sources say Al Hilal are considering terminating Neymar’s contract. There are rumors that he will return to Barca or return to his homeland to play for some teams such as Palmeiras or Santos, but insiders deny this.
With a high salary, Neymar took advantage of his vacation time to enjoy a luxurious life . He and his girlfriend Bruna Biancardi celebrated their daughter Mavie’s birthday in the Red Sea before returning to their home country of Brazil. The handsome couple constantly posted photos of their lavish vacations on private jets. The Sun reported that a few weeks ago, Neymar bought a £20.5 million property in Miami, USA. He is said to have spent £7 million on a private island in his home country of Brazil.
